The Atlantic has published what it says are Yemen “attack plans” shared by senior Trump administration officials in a group chat that inadvertently included the magazine’s editor.
The messages, sent by US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, include the times of strikes and the types of aircraft used.
Democrats are calling for senior members of US President Donald Trump’s administration, including Hegseth and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, to resign.
The White House has denied that any classified information was shared in the chat, with Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt calling The Atlantic’s report a “hoax”.
